NORTH CONWAY, NH — The Home Care, Hospice & Palliative Care Alliance of New Hampshire recently recognized Ashlee Chaine with the 2025 Home Care and Hospice Service Award. Chaine is the Community Outreach Coordinator for Visiting Nurse Home Care and Hospice of Carroll County and Western Maine.

This award showcases and celebrates true excellence and dedication to providing quality in-home health care beyond just their agency. Recipients of the Service Award have been identified as individuals or groups who have made exceptional contributions to the home care and hospice community in New Hampshire and the Alliance.  Nominees demonstrate a passion for excellence in home-based care, a dedication to quality improvement, and collegial sharing of their expertise with Alliance members.

The award was presented at the organization’s 2025 Annual Meeting, June 12, 2025. 80+ members were in attendance that day.

Chaine was nominated by Amy Moore, President of the Board of Directors of the Home Care, Hospice & Palliative Care Alliance of NH.

Moore stated, “Ashlee has been an invaluable member of the Alliance, and it has been inspiring to see her grow on the Board of Directors. She is fully engaged, thoughtful, and always prioritizes the needs of our field.”

“Ashlee excels in advocacy, whether testifying at hearings or meeting directly with senators to amplify the voices of the individuals and families we serve. Her passion for home-based care drives her work in shaping policy, advancing clinical excellence, and mentoring peers across the state.”

“Beyond her public efforts, Ashlee contributes significantly behind the scenes through quality improvement initiatives and workgroups. Her collaborative and inclusive leadership uplifts others, creating a lasting impact.”

“Ashlee truly embodies the values of the Home Care & Hospice Service Award: excellence, dedication, and a deep commitment to those we serve.”

Sandy Ruka, Executive Director of VNHCH added, “We are so proud of Ashlee’s work on behalf of our community. We are pleased she received this very much deserved recognition.”
