About Us: Visiting Nurse Homecare and Hospice of Carroll County is a small nonprofit healthcare organization providing high-quality Home Health, Hospice, and Long Term Care services. We are seeking a Compliance Officer to support agency-wide compliance efforts, ensuring programs operate in accordance with federal, state, and organizational regulations.
What You’ll Do:
· Monitor agency-wide compliance with CMS, HIPAA, state licensure, and internal policies.
· Conduct audits, chart reviews, and risk assessments; track and report trends and corrective actions.
· Support regulatory inspections and assist leadership with documentation and reporting.
· Provide guidance and support to program staff on documentation and compliance practices.
· Promote consistent compliance practices and identify opportunities for process improvement across programs.
What We’re Looking For:
· Current clinical license (RN, PT, or OT) preferred, or equivalent healthcare administration/compliance experience.
· 2–5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, quality, or regulatory support in homecare, Hospice, or LTC programs.
· Knowledge of clinical workflows and regulatory requirements in homecare settings.
· Proficient with EMR systems, compliance tracking, and reporting tools.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
· Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
